A: We can append to a Portfolio CD written like a Photo CD. Images written to a regular Writable CD can not be appended to at this time, but we will add any existing Photo CD images to a newly purchased disc at no extra cost.

Q: Is there an additional charge for cut negatives or for picking only the images I want scanned from a negative strip ?

Q: What steps should I take to send my negatives, slides or prints to be transferred to CD ?

Q: How should I send cut negatives and mark only the frames I want scanned ?
A: Put the negatives in sleeves. Align the right edge of the negative strip to the right edge of the sleeve. Put a sticky dot on the sleeve over the negative to be scanned or mark the sleeve some other way. If you want the images in a particular order, write the sequence on the dot (before you stick it, so as not damage the negative).

Q: What software will open .pcd (Photo CD format)
A: Most of the photo imaging softwares will open the Photo CD format. You will need to save to a different format if you are making changes. We found a freeware for PC users that will open and save to just about any format and is great for batch converting to another format. www.irfanview.com.
